Welcome Home

You already know something needs to change.

From chaos to collaboration, always.

The first step is a 30-minute conversation. For $5, I will listen to your situation, identify what is actually happening, and tell you exactly what your child needs. Whether or not we work together after that is entirely up to you.

Rightful Presence

Your child belongs in every classroom, every meeting, every decision about their education. Period.

No more wondering if you’re “doing advocacy right.” No more feeling like you need permission to speak up for what your child needs.

That dismissive look when you ask questions? The moment when they call your advocacy “pushy” or suggest your child needs “more structure”? Or those phrases like “we’ll consider it” that go nowhere? Across families of every background, these patterns repeat. So let’s get curious about what’s really driving them and how to navigate them strategically.

Your child doesn’t need to prove they deserve support. Those supports are already theirs by right.

Through my years on both sides of IEP tables, I’ve cracked the code on turning school stress into collaborative partnerships that actually work for your family’s real life. You get someone who understands how cultural factors, unconscious bias, and systemic barriers can impact educational decisions, and who knows how to work around them while maintaining your dignity.

Ready to turn those overwhelming moments into real change? Together, we’ll make sure your child’s education works for them, and give you back the peace of mind you deserve.

We Get It

Because we’ve been there.

That sinking feeling when you walk out of an IEP meeting more confused than when you walked in? I’ve been there too.

The patterns are familiar. Parents’ questions get dismissed quickly, and your child’s behavior gets interpreted very differently than it would for another family. Over the years, families from every kind of background have walked this with me, so I understand the subtle biases that shape those interactions.

Here’s what experience has taught me. Your child doesn’t need to prove they belong. They don’t need permission to access what they’re already entitled to receive. And you don’t need to navigate this journey alone.

I’ve learned how to turn those overwhelming “now what?” moments into a partnership that holds up in your family’s real life. This isn’t just about surviving school. It’s about your child thriving in every space they enter and developing a strategic “end game” that sets them up for lifelong success.

Together, we’ll move from chaos to collaboration, claim what your child is already entitled to receive, and build an “end game” education that works for them, not the other way around.

Our Promise to You

Every family belongs here, just as you are.

We warmly welcome families from all backgrounds and understand that each family brings unique strengths and needs. Some families face additional barriers due to assumptions about their children or advocacy style. Let’s collaborate to understand your child’s specific challenges while navigating any systemic obstacles you encounter.

Hey friend, I’m Latina.

Three sides of one mission. Every strategy I share with families, I learned first by living it.

The Professional
The Professional

30+ years on the other side of the table.

For more than three decades, I’ve been the administrator, the program director, the person on the other side of that table. Now that insider knowledge goes to work for families navigating systems that weren’t built with them in mind.

The credentials behind that experience include a Master’s in Educational Leadership and Administration, a second Master’s in Political and Justice Studies, and a post-baccalaureate certificate in Autism Spectrum Disorders from Purdue. I trained through The Arc’s advocacy program and through the Master IEP Coach program, and I stay current with Wrightslaw and COPAA standards.

My education shows me what is happening from a leadership perspective. Lived experience shows me the family side. Together, that training is what lets me bridge the gap.

The Parent
The Parent

And I know it from the family side too.

Beyond the credentials, I know exactly what it feels like to sit in that meeting room and watch people talk about your child like they’re a problem to be solved.

As a grandmother raising my autistic grandsons, and as someone who is neurodivergent myself, this work came to me the hard way. When a school psychologist told me my grandson would never learn, refusing that verdict was the only option. I knew him better than any evaluation could capture.

That’s why I do this differently. Instead of telling you what to do, my role is to make sure you never feel alone in that room again.
